This policy explains what happens to personal information in connection with the website at vanguarddigital.online. It is written to be checked against the site itself: everything it describes either happens, or is stated not to happen. There is no section here about collection we do not perform.
1. Who is responsible

FAJBUD s.r.o. decides how and why any personal information described below is handled. Enquiries about this policy go to the email address above.
2. What is collected
Three things, and nothing else.
(a) Nothing through the website itself. There is no form anywhere on this site, no newsletter sign-up, no account, no comment facility, no chat widget and no search box that records what you typed. The site sets no cookies of its own and permits no third party to set one through it. It uses no analytics, no advertising or conversion tags, no A/B testing tool and no fingerprinting. It writes nothing to your browser's local storage or session storage.
(b) Ordinary server logs, kept by the hosting provider. Like any web server, the one serving this site records a line for each request: the IP address the request came from, the date and time, the page or file requested, the HTTP status returned, the browser's user agent string, and in some cases the referring page. These logs exist for security and diagnostics — identifying faults, and identifying abusive traffic. They are not used to build a profile of a reader, are not combined with any other source, and are not analysed for marketing.
(c) Whatever you put in an email. If you write to info@vanguarddigital.online, we necessarily receive your email address, your message, and anything else you choose to include. We do not add that address to a mailing list, because there is no mailing list.
3. Fonts, and the one external request this site makes
Pages on this site load a font stylesheet from Google Fonts, a service provided by Google. When your browser requests that stylesheet and the font files it references, Google receives your IP address, and the technical information any web request carries, in order to serve the files. Google does not set a cookie when serving fonts, and this site sends Google nothing about you beyond what that request inherently contains. No other external host is contacted by any page here.
4. Why each category is handled, and on what basis
- Server logs — to keep the site available and secure, and to diagnose faults. The basis is the publisher's legitimate interest in operating a working, secure website. This is not a basis requiring consent, and there is no consent banner because there is nothing set on your device to consent to.
- Email correspondence — to read and answer your message. The basis is the publisher's legitimate interest in responding to people who contact it, and, where the message concerns a request under privacy law, compliance with a legal obligation.
- Font delivery — to render the site's typefaces. The basis is legitimate interest in presenting the site as designed.
5. How long each category is kept
- Server logs: kept for up to 30 days, then deleted or overwritten in the ordinary course of log rotation. Where a specific log entry forms part of a security investigation, that entry may be kept for up to 12 months and no longer.
- Email correspondence: kept while the matter is open and for up to 24 months after it is closed, so we can recognise a follow-up message. It is then deleted.
- Anything else: there is nothing else. No profile, no account record, no advertising identifier, no analytics history.
6. Who else sees it, and cross-border disclosure
Two parties, both necessary to operate the site.
- The hosting provider, which operates the servers that store and deliver these pages and which generates and holds the server logs described above.
- Google, which serves the font stylesheet and font files, and therefore receives the IP address of the browser requesting them.
- Our email provider, which carries and stores messages sent to the contact address.
No personal information is sold, rented, or disclosed to advertisers, data brokers, or analytics companies. The advertising network behind the paid links on this site receives nothing from us about you; when you click a marked link you leave this site and that network's own terms apply to the visit you then make.
Cross-border disclosure (Australian Privacy Principle 8). If you are in Australia, you should be aware that the recipients above are located outside Australia. The publisher is established in the Czech Republic, the hosting and email infrastructure is located in Europe, and Google operates globally, including in the United States. Handing personal information to these recipients is therefore a disclosure of that information to overseas recipients. We take reasonable steps to satisfy ourselves that these recipients handle information in a manner consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles, but you should understand that information disclosed overseas may be subject to the laws of those countries.
7. Security
The site is served over HTTPS, so traffic between your browser and the server is encrypted in transit. Access to the server and to the contact mailbox is limited to the publisher, protected by unique credentials and multi-factor authentication where the provider supports it. Because the site collects nothing, there is no database of reader information to lose. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
8. Your rights under the Australian Privacy Principles
If you are in Australia, you may ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, and ask for it to be corrected if it is wrong. In practice, the only personal information we are likely to hold about an identifiable person is an email exchange with them.
To make a request, write to info@vanguarddigital.online. We will respond within a reasonable period, normally within 30 days. If we refuse a request we will explain why in writing.
If you are not satisfied with how we handle a privacy matter, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, the independent regulator for privacy in Australia, at oaic.gov.au. We would ask you to raise it with us first, because most things are fixed faster that way, but you are not obliged to.
9. Notifiable data breaches
If a data breach occurs that is likely to result in serious harm to an individual whose personal information we hold, we will notify the affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), and will say what happened and what to do about it.
10. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom
FAJBUD s.r.o. is established in the Czech Republic, so the General Data Protection Regulation applies to its handling of personal information, as does the UK GDPR for readers in the United Kingdom. The legal basis relied on for server logs, email correspondence and font delivery is legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) — keeping the site secure and operational, and answering people who write to us. No consent basis is relied on, because the site sets no cookies and performs no tracking.
You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to processing based on legitimate interests. Requests go to info@vanguarddigital.online. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in the Czech Republic, the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), or the authority in your own country of residence.
11. Children
This site is not directed at children under 16, and it is not designed to appeal to them. It collects nothing from anybody, so it collects nothing from children. Some pages discuss how classification and online safety work for younger players; they are written for the adults making those decisions.
12. Changes to this policy
If the site ever changes in a way that affects this policy — most obviously, if any form, analytics or cookie were introduced — this page would be updated before the change went live, and the effective date at the top would change with it. Where a cookie or tracking technology is involved, a working consent mechanism would be in place first. There is no mailing list to notify, so the effective date is the reliable indicator; readers who care about this are welcome to check it.
